While teaching high school math, I eagerly became the school’s yearbook advisor, renewing idling interests in tech, design, writing, and community leadership. With continual opportunities to impart so many of my passions onto the next generation, I never imagined leaving the profession. However, my husband and I then made the difficult decision to move across the country for family reasons.
Packing up a decade-long career supporting others in their journey empowered me to continue my own. Gravitating towards UX design reinvigorated exploring front-end development and diving into full-stack engineering. With a breadth and depth of knowledge behind and infront of me, I am ready to deepen my interests and abilities as a software engineer.
